Beauty For Ashes Africa (also officially known as Fragile: Beauty For Ashes) is a non-profit 501-c3 organization founded in 2014 by Lauren Spiewak. We support the efforts in North Africa to prevent, rescue, and restore victims of human trafficking. North Africa is a strategic location for combating human trafficking because it is the literal ground along which the majority of trade routes cross from all of Africa to Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

We currently support one Transition Home in Morocco. Our hope is to expand into other Moroccan cities and then other North African countries to help fight against the terrible injustice of human trafficking.

We prevent exploitation and restore victims of human trafficking by breaking the cycle of vulnerability and empowering them to live flourishing lives.

End Exploitation, One Girl At A Time.
Our vision is a world without exploitation.  We believe by breaking the cycle of vulnerability in one person’s life it will lead to the transformation of an entire family, the generations that follow, and communities and nations in which they live.

Core Values

All human beings are intrinsically endowed with dignity and have been created with purpose and beauty

Men and women are equally created for dignity and beauty, being equal in their value and worth

No human being has the right to claim ownership of another human being through physical force, coercion, or deception, regardless of relationship or monetary transaction

Human beings are the greatest assets of every society, and it is in the best interest of the community to nurture and encourage the natural gifts, creativity, and talents of all its citizens
